Want to share your experiences and attitudes towards the Facebook platform?

A group of researchers at the University of Michigan School of Information would love to learn from your insights in a 60-minute individual interview session. For this study, we are looking for Facebook users based in the United States. You will receive monetary compensation upon completion of the interview.

How We Handle Your Data During the Study

A. We will only collect data regarding your Facebook settings. Other information on Facebook (i.e. posts, messages, friends) will not be collected.

B. During data collection, your name and other information that can directly identify you will be stored securely and separately from the research information. This directly identifiable information will be deleted after data collection and compensation is completed. The audio and shared screen recordings will be deleted immediately after the data analysis is complete. We will keep the de-identified information for three years after completion of the study for study record keeping and future research purposes.

C. Participant data will be anonymized when reporting and disseminating the findings. The results of this study may be published in an article or presentation, but will not include any information that would reveal your identity.
